Declaration on digital accessibility
The German Music Council endeavours to make its websites accessible, including the website www.bundesjazzorchester.de. The website should be designed in such a way that it complies with the national legislation implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament, the Disability Equality Act North Rhine-Westphalia - BGG NRW (§ 10 to § 10e) and the Barrier-free Information Technology Ordinance North Rhine-Westphalia - BITVNRW.
www.bundesjazzorchester.de is largely barrier-free. We see accessibility as an ongoing process, which is why our website is constantly being reviewed and optimised. The requirements of BITV 2.0 are largely fulfilled from a technical point of view.
The company Fixpunkt GmbH(https://www.fixpunkt.com) from Bonn realises the technical check of accessibility. The aim is to significantly improve the result generated by the SaaS tool "Eye Able". Fixpunkt also bases its optimisation on the test steps of the BITV test. See here: https://bitvtest.de/tests-und-beratung/selbst-testen/bitv-selbstbewertung
Which areas are not accessible?
- PDF documents are not always accessible. We are endeavouring to remove any remaining barriers.
- Not all videos embedded on the website www.musikrat.de have subtitles or a transcript. The problem will be gradually resolved.(BITV test step 9.1.2.2).
- Images and graphics without an informative function mostly contain an alternative text(BITV test step 9.1.1.1c)
